Don’t look up …

The Day of the Pigeons is upon us.

Thursday November 11 Pigeons will be holding a fundraiser at Bella Union in Trades Hall. Funds raised will go towards supporting and expanding our programs, and we would love to see you there.

Our intrepid MC, Michaela McGuire, co-curator of the fabulous Women of Letters, will be leading a cast of extremely talented folk in a night of readings, stories, music and a literary quiz we like to call, ‘Children’s Authors vs. The World’.

Pigeons authors Tony Wilson, Andrew McDonald and Jackie Kerin will be joined on the stage by the Wheeler Centre’s Programming Director Michael Williams and RRR’s Jess McGuire. Performances by Twenty Seven Winters and Floyd Thursby, as well as a raffle with prizes from Readings, Pony Bikes and harvest magazine, make the $14 price of admission a bargain!

Tickets can be bought on the door, or better yet, you can book them here.

What better way to spend a school night?
