Program Coordinator (Part-Time)
📍 Footscray, VIC | 🕒 0.6FTE (22.5 hours over 4 days) | 💰 $68K FTE + Super | 📅 Fixed-term 2 years (with possibility of extension)
At 100 Story Building, we believe every child has a story to tell and we're here to make sure they can tell it loud, proud, and with any embellishments they choose. We’re a creative writing centre and social enterprise that works alongside young people, especially those who face barriers to education and creative opportunities.
Now we’re on the lookout for an organised, curious and solutions-savvy Program Coordinator to help us deliver the imaginative, inclusive and wildly fun programming we’re known for.
A bit about the role:
This job is for someone who:
Thrives in the nitty-gritty of logistics and planning
Has strong people and project coordination skills (bonus points if you love a to-do list)
Is energised by helping others do their best work, especially creative facilitators and young storytellers
Can juggle schools, session schedules, stationery supplies and Slack threads.
You’ll be:
Coordinating workshops in schools and on-site at 100 Story Building
Booking, rostering and working with our amazing creative facilitators
Managing school enquiries and helping to grow our workshop program
Ensuring everything (and everyone!) shows up where they need to be
Supporting with data, evaluation, and storytelling to show the impact of our work
You’ll bring:
Experience in program coordination or administration—ideally in an arts, education or community setting
Great communication skills (you’ll be talking with teachers, facilitators and young people)
Tech know-how (think: Google Workspace, Notion, Xero, maybe even AI tools that help make the job easier)
A love for process but flexibility when things (inevitably) don’t go to plan
A sense of humour and a strong commitment to inclusion, equity, and child safety

Location: Footscray, VIC (with occasional off-site work)
Start date: Mid-August 2025 (or close to it!)
