As 2025 ends, we’re grateful for our 100 Story Building community! This year brought storytelling clubs, We Watched Our River Rise, and creative programs across Victoria. In 2026, we’re excited to grow, welcome new staff, and offer more opportunities for young storytellers. Wishing you a joyful holiday season, we can’t wait for the next chapter!

As the year wraps up, we’re celebrating creativity and community! Highlights include the launch of We Watched Our River Rise, a book by young people of Maribyrnong reflecting resilience through poetry, stories, and art. This December, Primary School educators are invited to the StoryHubs Teacher Forum with keynote Alice Pung OAM, exploring storytelling and creative pedagogy.

This school holidays at 100 Story Building, young adventurers can join Magic Time Dinosaurs or The Library of Unwritten Futures . Students have been creating new Story Hubs, imaginative worlds, and short films, bringing their stories to life through art and storytelling. We’re also hiring a Creative Learning Lead to help spark imagination in schools and communities!

In our September Newsletter we’re diving into Spring School Holiday adventures, welcoming our new Creative Programs Manager, celebrating the Moonee Valley Book Club, and opening bookings for Term 4 workshops!
