Early Harvest is back in 2026, and we’d love your school to be part of it!

Join us for an online information session where we’ll walk through everything you need to know about taking part in Australia’s only creative project that supports primary students to write, edit and illustrate a professionally published book.

In this session, we’ll introduce the program structure, share what’s involved for teachers and students, outline timelines, and answer any questions you may have. You’ll also hear how Early Harvest helps teachers build narrative writing units where every student creates a story for submission, and how we bring together a Year 5–6 Editorial Board to curate selected stories and create extra features for the final anthology.

Early Harvest is a much-loved program that empowers young writers to share their stories, build creative confidence and proudly call themselves published authors.
