Community & Resources

We love to create and share stories in all different ways - writing, drawing, telling, performing, games - and we love to help children and young people discover and develop their own ways of creating and sharing stories. Our range of workshops and programs support young writers to develop their own creative process and have fun storytelling.

Community Bookings

Curate the perfect program for your community with workshops from 100 Story Building, Victoria’s home of creative storytelling and discovery! We regularly partner with councils, libraries and other community organisations to inspire and engage young people. Workshops can be delivered online or in-person.

Our expert imaginauts (“facilitator” is way too boring for what they do!) bring the fun, collaborating with your local kids to create outrageous characters, reach for the stars, or embark on perilous quests… Participants leave with new friends, great memories, and exciting stories they’ve made themselves.

Learn at Home Resources

Making space for creativity helps all of us build confidence, be leaders in our own learning and take safe risks in our education. Our facilitators have shared some favourite storytelling activities to help young writers while remote learning, to help build critical and creative thinking skills. And have some fun at the same time!
