COVID-19: We move online

Things are moving rapidly with respect to COVID-19 situation, and we have been in daily development of our plan, taking into account advice from government and peak bodies, while also ensuring we are focused on the needs of the schools, students and communities we serve.

While our longer-term plan is still in development, here are some immediate actions that we will be taking to ensure that we can continue to deliver our program of creative learning to the communities we serve.

  • We are converting booked workshops and seminars to online webinars, wherever possible
  • We are rescheduling workshops to a later day, if the school so requires
  • We are maintaining high levels of hygiene at our office, in keeping with the guidance from peak bodies

We are also developing a suite of creative writing programs/professional learning programs for students and teachers.

Today we successfully delivered our first professional learning workshop via live webinar to teachers. A big thanks to the staff from Sunshine PS and Banksia Gardens Community Services for throwing themselves into our online adventure at short notice.

We're looking forward to working with more schools and partner organisations in this way, and would love to hear from you if you're interested in finding out more about our online professional learning offerings.

If you would like to remain updated on our online suite of programs, please register your interest.

And most of all, stay safe and exercise self-care.
