COVID-19: 100 Story Building response

100 Story Building prides itself in being a community-minded, child safe organisation. The health and safety of 100SB community, including our staff, volunteers, families, partner organisations and the children and young people we work with are of the utmost importance to us.

In response to the unfolding COVID-19 pandemic, we’re taking a number of steps to prevent its further spread.

As of today, 100 Story Building remains open (with a few programming changes) and our staff are taking the following steps based on the guidelines from the Victorian Department of Health & Human Services and the Department of Education & Training:

  • Ensuring all students and volunteers wash their hands and use hand sanitiser when entering our space
  • Wiping down all tables with sanitary wipes both before and after a session with students and volunteers
  • Maintaining a supply of soap and hand sanitiser in the workshop space and bathrooms
  • Staying home when feeling sick.

For the coming months, we are also developing a suite of online offerings for both students and teachers, so that schools and communities who have been affected by coronavirus are still able to access our programs.

In the meantime, we request all our supporters and volunteers to practice self-care for themselves and their communities. If you have questions, contact us on 9044 -8215 or info@100storybuilding.org.au
