Plan for Vic

In 2024, the Victorian Department of Transport and Planning began developing a 30-year vision for the future of Victoria, shaping how people live, work and move across the state.

While broad community consultation was underway, there was a clear gap: the voices of children and young people were largely absent from the planning process.

Young people are directly impacted by decisions about housing, transport, environment and liveability, yet are rarely engaged in meaningful ways in policy development.

100 Story Building was engaged to design and deliver a creative engagement program across 20 schools, ensuring that young people from diverse communities could contribute their ideas, experiences and vision for the future of Victoria.
