As we move through the final months of the year, it’s been inspiring to see creativity and collaboration flourish across our community, and we’re excited for what next year will bring.
In October, we celebrated the launch of We Watched Our River Rise, a remarkable book created by the young people of Maribyrnong. Through poetry, drawings, and stories, Michelle, Charlie, Ethan, Jasmine, Jordan, and Georgia transformed their experiences of flood and displacement into a powerful celebration of resilience, creativity, and community.
This December, we’re hosting the StoryHubs Teacher Forum, an afternoon designed for Primary School educators who are passionate about storytelling, creativity, and student voice. Featuring keynote speaker Alice Pung OAM, the forum will explore the power of creative pedagogy and how storytelling can spark confidence, literacy, and imagination in the classroom. RSVP here and read more below!
