Searching for strategic visionaries to join our Board

We are currently recruiting new volunteer Board Directors and a Board Chair to help guide our organisation through an exciting and critical phase of growth, renewal and long-term planning.

This is an opportunity to contribute to a creative and impactful organisation committed to empowering the next generation through storytelling, literacy and creativity. We are looking for strategic, passionate individuals who can help shape our next chapter and secure a sustainable future.

We are looking for:

● A commitment to 100 Story Building’s mission, values and impact in community

● Understanding of governance principles or willingness to learn

● Capacity to actively contribute time, networks, and strategic thinking

● Experience in at least one of the following areas:

○ Fundraising & Philanthropy (particularly individual donor development and major gifts)

○ Education Leadership or Education Policy

○ Strategic Planning & Business Model Development

○ Social Impact Strategy

○ Creative or Cultural Sector Experience

○ Media or Journalism

○ EdTech or Digital Product Strategy

○ Partnerships or Community Networks (esp. Melbourne’s west)
