Great Wall of Comics @ Children's Book Festival 2013

What’s better than a book of comics? A Great Wall of Comics! As part of the Children’s Book Festival on Sunday 24 March, we’re priming the towering walls of Experimedia to build a collaborative, multi-level comic story. Using characters created for 100 Story Building by illustrators including Shaun Tan, Nicki Greenberg and Pat Grant as inspiration, you can write and draw your own comic. Or, we encourage peeking at your neighbour’s drawing, or at the comics already on the wall, to take someone else’s story in a new direction. All day, all ages, all ideas make the wall. Basically, there are NO RULES. What: Great Wall of Comics Where: Experimedia, State Library of Victoria When: 10am – 4pm Cost: Free Come along and help us build it! And make sure you check out all the other great Children's Book Festival activities. We might sneak out for a ride in the fire truck. Thanks to The Wheeler Centre and State Library of Victoria for having us along.
