HOW LONG IS A PIECE OF STRING

  • Queen Victoria Gardens (opp NGV) Melbourne, 3000 Australia (map)

When did you start? When did you stop? What came into your life and what left? And why do we think of time in lines?

This combined workshop experience and interactive installation is an opportunity to pause, reflect and measure the timelines of what matters the most.

We invite people of all ages to use the humble medium of string to create a visual exploration of the milestones, life stages, and experiences that define you, and to weave them into a rich tapestry of stories from across our community.

GUIDED WORKSHOPS WILL TAKE PLACE ON:

  • Monday 9 January, 2pm-3.30pm

  • Tuesday 10 January, 10.30am – 12pm

  • Tuesday 10 January, 2.00pm – 3.30pm

Presented as part of the MKIDS MPAVILION 2022 program
